2020 Cap-Iron Man Exchange Gifts unveiled on December 27th

CAP-IRONMAN Holiday Exchange and Community Gifts 2020

It’s the first day of reveals! Each day we will be revealing gifts created by 2020 Cap-Iron Man Holiday Exchange and Community Gifts Event participants. The gifts will remain anonymous until January 11th, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the works and guess the identities of creators. (Remember, if you've got a work in the collection, please remain anonymous until after creator reveals!)

Here are today’s gifts!

Avengers Holiday Party for gwenpoole (616, 1833 Words)
Tony hosts a holiday party for the Avengers, but there's something else on his mind besides ensuring Clint doesn't drink all the eggnog.

A Comedy of Errors for alexcat (MCU, 3706 Words)
Tony Stark and Steve Rogers have been secretly dating for months when Tony suggests some light roleplaying: At the Stark Industries holiday party, they will pretend to be strangers, and Tony will pick him up. Steve is uncertain whether he is up for the task; he has never been particularly good at being undercover, but he will try for Tony’s sake.

Of course, Tony plans to humor him and his terrible acting – Steve is doing this for him, after all – but when the time comes, Steve proves to not only be a surprisingly good actor but also completely unresponsive to any of Tony’s attempts to pick him up. That’s okay; Tony will just have to work even harder to match Steve’s level of commitment.

Based on Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. For the 2020 Cap-IronMan Holiday Exchange.

i almost fell right through (but i held onto you) for Cap Iron Man Community (MCU, 15366 Words)
There's no way Thor doesn't know what his answer will be. Still, he asks. "You are going to do this, are you not?"

Steve turns away. "I need to make a call."

After six years of trying and failing to find Tony post-Endgame, Steve finally gets the news that there's a chance to save him. The cost is steep, but Steve is willing to pay it. The only question is, is Tony willing?

An Orpheus and Eurydice style Endgame fix-it fic.

I Don't Like the Lie. for Neverever (Avengers Assemble, Comic)
Steve and Tony have been pretending to be married to be heroes and allies (and because their accountants stressed the financial advantages of marriage).

However, Steve Rogers... Captain America... does not like the idea of misleading the public, and he wants to end the farce.

A Recording for venusiaries (MCU, 6911 Words)
PROMPT: Somehow, a voice clipping of Tony breaking down about Steve Rogers makes the news, and Steve is both enraged by the invasion of privacy and guiltily hopeful about his previously thought to be unrequited pining.

Tony's Arm Itched for HogwartsToAlexandria (MCU, 1130 Words)
Tony’s arm itched.
Tony could feel the itch. It roved up and down his arm, from his fingertips to his shoulder. It was driving him mad. He just couldn’t scratch it. Every time he tried, he was graphically reminded of the fact that he couldn’t, that his arm simply wasn’t there any more. That he had saved the world, but it had cost him.
