Cap/Iron Man Remix 2021 works unveiled on February 21st



It is time for the final day of Cap-IM Remix works to be unveiled! Come and see what creators came up with and leave them some love.

Thank you to all the participants in Remix Relay, Remix Exchange and Remix Madness!

Remember, remixes will remain anonymous until all works have been revealed, so please refrain from posting or sharing what you created until creator reveals on Saturday, February 27th.

REMIX EXCHANGE

When Tony is kidnapped on a mission gone wrong, he finds himself trapped with no salvation in sight. He knows Steve's coming, he just don't know if Steve will get to him in time.


★ Take me on (the new beginnings remix) (Noir, G, 1125 words)
A few years after the war, Miss Potts decides to retire from Marvels. Steve is determined to be the new chronicler for famous explorer, Tony Stark.



REMIX RELAY

The memories come all at once, overwhelming in their immediacy. Deafening in their power. Steve can feel-see-hear-smell-taste the way the world pulls at his atoms, to undo him. To remake him anew. He opens his mouth to breathe but that only sucks the oxygen from his lungs and leaves him gasping for air. He feels tiny again, tiny and helpless and weak, but there's nothing he can say or do or—

And then, all at once, everything stops.

The past is stronger than any of them except Steve could have known. He goes to meet his past once again and finds more than he ever thought possible.

Tony has to go back in time to stop Kang before Kang wrecks the universe, but he has an unexpected encounter with a figure from his past, Steve.

Tony finds Steve asleep on the couch. He figures that the easiest option would be to just cuddle up to Steve rather than getting them both to bed.


★ Captain Tight Pants (One-Eyed One-Horned Flying Purple People Eater Remix) (Avengers Assemble, T, 1067 words)
The serum gave Steve a hair trigger and sexy Tony Stark sure isn't helping.

Steve is waiting for a mysterious blind date set up by Natasha but a familiar face shows up.

Steve dies on the steps of the courthouse and Tony is left to pick up the pieces. As he takes over as Director of Shield, he struggles to find the balance between function and grief. The loss of Steve feels heavier each day. He doesn't know if he can carry on.
Steve is gone. Tony feels nothing.

Tony has never seen color until he sees Captain America.

Steve goes down in the eyes regretting he never found his soulmate.

Tony falls into a hole he can't seem to claw his way out of.

The last time Tony was this hammered was after his disastrous birthday party while fending off an early death. The last time he was this confused was while trying to fight off aliens invading New York. And the last time he was this hammered and this confused was in undergrad.
Something's wrong.
Tony wakes up from a battle completely disoriented. Nat and Steve help him ground himself.


★ Steve’s Not-so-Secret Homosexual Bondage Dungeon (MCU, M, 1613 words)
Steve is Tony’s date for the Maria Stark Foundation Charity Gala, which is attended by a fair number of his old flames. Despite Steve’s assurances that he doesn’t look down on him for it, Tony is concerned that his sexual history means Steve will never see him as a viable romantic option. After all, Captain America is a gentleman, a product of another age. Virtuous and old-fashioned, Steve would never–
The bartender gives Tony a quick once over and whistles low. “Moving on up in the world?” he says before addressing Tony himself. “Can’t say I’m not jealous. Steve is one of the best. He’ll really take care of you, you know, and he has one hell of a flogging arm.”
So, um… As it turns out, Steve gets around.


★ with both hands (the held remix) (MCU, G, 1500 words)
Steve hates that Tony has been stretched too thin after Siberia. Hates that he went back on his promise of forever. Hates and hates and hates. But he doesn't hate Tony. He hates the idea of desperately needing a second chance. But he'll take what he can get.


★ yearning, hoping, mourning (the should have called first remix) (MCU, T, 100 words)
There's something missing in the Battle of Titan. Tony hates it.


★ You blow away my storm and strife (Shook the Bones of Me Remix) (MCU, M, 438 words)
Tony and Steve finally have some time to spend together. Steve has plans...
