Welcome to a new edition of the Cap-Iron Man Community Newsletter! We've had a successful start to our Universe Medley Fest. We're in the middle of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes month — plenty of time to take part by creating works, sharing rec lists, streaming episodes and more! Reverse Bang participants will start posting this month, so keep your eyes peeled for some fantastic new collaborations 👀 Our next Stony Quiz is around the corner, so please vote on what time you can make it, and we'll be announcing the Cap-IM Big Bang dates soon. As ever, there are so manyother Steve/Tony and multifandom events to get involved in this month — don't forget to check them all out!

This newsletter gives you an overview of what's been happening at cap_ironman, which upcoming Steve/Tony events to look out for, and a round-up of all the wonderful things that our lovely Steve/Tony creators shared with us since the last newsletter.

• We're preparing another Stony Trivia Quiz for the weekend of June 12/13! We would love to know what time suits you best — please fill out our interest check here, and have a look at how the quiz will run here.


• We are halfway through our Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Month, where we've invited creators to post and share works themed to this universe. Collaborations allowed! Multiple works encouraged! All worktypes welcome! EMH Month lasts until May 15, and then Avengers Academy Month will begin.


• Check out our roundup of fabulous fanworks for 3490 Month of our ongoing Cap-IM Universe Medley Fest!
  
• Round 5 of Cap-IM Comment Bingo just ended — remember to claim your prize! You can request a comment bingo card in our new round here — you have 6 months to leave comments and get a bingo!


• The current STONY Bingo is open until July 31st; you can request a card throughout the round, as well as request a second card after you reach a bingo!


• Don't forget that as part of the Universe Medley Fest we're encouraging people to host universe-themed mini events of their own! However, you can always advertise or host your Stony and Steve & Tony events on cap_ironman platforms — for more info check out our guidelines.

• DC & Marvel Fanwork Exchange signups are open until April 3.


• The 2021 Marvel Reverse Bang is running in phases this year — the Space and Magic and Spiderverse Phase sign-ups are open.


• The Fairy Tale Inspired Fic & Art Exchange matches people up to create and receive fic and art inspired by their favorite fairy tales, fables, legends and myths. Sign-ups close May 8.


• The Multifandom Horror Exchange is back for a second round! This is a multi-fandom fic & art gift exchange where the works created focus on elements of horror. Nominations open May 6. Sign-ups open May 18.


• The Friends with Benefits (Without Penetration) Fest is a fest for non-romantic/platonic physically intimate interactions between friends that don’t involve penetration. Works can be submitted until May 15.


• Unconventional Fanworks Exchange is a multi-fandom gift exchange for fanwork besides traditional fic and art, including (but not limited to): meta, in-universe documents, vids, podfic, audio not!fic, chatfic, and multimedia fanwork. Sign-ups close on May 17.


• Sign-ups for the Stony Trope Bingo are open until May 28. The Bingo round will run June - September 2021.


• The Steve, Tony and Bucky Bingo allows Stony fills, and is giving out cards until May 31.


• A new round of Lights on Park Ave has begun; this is a low-pressure monthly prompt challenge. May's theme is "longing".


• Write Short and Sweet posts a table of prompts once a month, and the challenge is to write a one, two or three sentence story for each prompt!


• The fancake theme of the month will soon be posting their May theme. You have till the end of the month to rec your faves in the community.


• You can request a card from Gen Prompt Bingo until July 31. It is a low commitment multi-fandom, multi-media bingo challenge where no prompts are specifically about romance or sex, but fills may be of any genre, style or rating


• The second What2Finish charity auction to #StopAsianHate is gearing up — check out their announcement here.
  
• Marvel Bang sign-ups have opened. This any-Marvel-universe 10K Big Bang closes author sign-ups on July 1.

• post or announce your work in one of our community spaces: our Dreamwidth, Livejournalor the #stony-recs channel on our Discord
• post to our Cap-Iron Man Bingo Collection on AO3 or Cap-Iron Man Fanworks Collection on AO3
• leave a fill in current SteveTony Kink Meme round
• post on Tumblr or Twitter and mention cap_ironman (so that we get a notification).
