You may not believe me, but I really like this- in some ways, more than porn.

You know, it's strange, but folks in this fandom seem to appreciate non-porn more than in other fandoms I've been in. In other fandoms the porn always got the most feedback, but in this one it's an even bet.

It fills in one of those little gaps in Steve and Tony's relationship- namely, where Tony's playboy attitude and Steve's innocence intersect.

This is something that I had been working out in my own brain, because it's one of those things that make people doubt the pairing. So naturally, I have to have an explanation. *g*

And it made me go aww at the end- I can see Steve being that straightforward about it with Tony, and Tony loving him forever because of it.

So many people have screwed around with Tony, especially romantically, that it makes sense to me that he would find honesty and ordinary, vanilla, genuine desire extraordinarily attractive. I wasn't sure if my rationalizations would work for others, though. I'm glad they do!

You show us how two diverse people fit together, and it's making me tear up a little.
