Author's Note: I was watching a documentary on WWII tonight, and it led my mind down an odd path. This is what resulted. Roughly 400 words of character study, which I guess could be paired with Debts Owed, although this is set pre-Civil War and can certainly stand alone. Still new here, so feel free to yell, scream, and holler if I'm writing OOC.
Summary: If you ask anyone, they will tell you that Steve is a good soldier.
