Sign-Ups for the STONY BINGO 2025 are Open!
Welcome to a new round of STONY BINGO! We’re making some big, exciting changes this year!
THE GOAL
Fill prompts to complete a line (row, column, or diagonal). Feeling adventurous? Try for a blackout (fill every prompt on your card).
Fills must be previously unpublished and created specifically for your bingo card, but you can combine bingo prompts with other challenges, as long as these challenges allow it.
All fills must focus on Steve and Tony’s relationship, be it romantic or platonic. A fill may only count toward ONE square/prompt, unless you’re doing the Bingo in One challenge (more info about it later). You may use one prompt for each chapter of your fic (or each page of your comic).
Optional Prompts: Kink, AU, Picture, Writing Format, Art Format and Podfic Format prompts are optional! You can choose to include them in your card when you fill out the sign up form. (You can still create kinky works, fic, art or podfic if you don’t include them in your card.) Please note that we will ask you to state you are at least 18 years old in case you pick Kink prompts.
How you interpret the prompt is up to you, but it needs to be featured in your work. Contact us if you need clarification on any of your prompts. For image prompts, you are not required to stick to the same format or universe, though you may choose to do so. (For example, if your visual prompt is a 616 panel, you don’t have to do a 616 fill.) The free space in the middle is your wild card. You may create anything you want for it, as long as it’s Steve/Tony!
Podficcers, please remember we have a a list of podfic-friendly Steve/Tony writers in the fandom, so you can easily find things to podfic if you don’t want to read your own work. You can also check creators' profiles for transformative statements.
WHAT CHANGED?
From now on, sign-ups will happen through Google Forms instead of DW comments. You will find the link to the Sign Up Form at the bottom of this post.
Schedule: The Stony Bingo will run from March to November and have just one round per year. That means you now have 9 months to finish your card and get your badges!
- February 1st: Sign ups open
- March 1st: All cards are sent out
- April 1st: Late sign ups open
- November 30th: Last day to post your fills
Adoptables: Every 1st day of the month we will post a list of 15 adoptable prompts. You may pick a prompt from the list and use it to replace one of your squares. You may only adopt ONE prompt a month and it can't be a prompt you already have on your card, so choose wisely! You’ll be able to replace 9 squares this way!
To avoid giving you prompts you absolutely don't want to create for, we're asking for a list of "Do Not Wants" when you fill out the form. If you still receive a card that you can't work with, you are allowed to email us back asking for a redraw. You can only redraw once per round and you will receive a completely new card. After that you will only be able to ask for a new card once you have completed a blackout or when a new round starts.
Late sign ups: If you missed the sign up period, don’t worry, you can still get a card starting on April 1st! It’ll be a pre-made card and it won’t have any of our opt-in prompts, but those will still appear in our Adoptables list every month and you may still use them. To get a pre-made card, simply email us at cap.im.events@gmail.com and let us know what username you want on your card!
Badges: There are FOUR badges that you can get this round!
- Participation: Fill at least one square on your card.
- Bingo: Complete a line (row, column, or diagonal) on your card.
- Blackout: Fill every square on your card.
- Bingo in One: Get a bingo by picking a line (row, column, or diagonal) and including all 5 prompts from that line in just one work. You may only do this ONCE per card.
Make sure to claim your badge by filling out the Badge Claim form before December 15th! But don’t worry, we will post a reminder at the end of the round. If you get a blackout way before the end of the round, you may request a new card by checking that option on the Badge Claim form. Please note that you can only get each badge ONCE.
POSTING FILLS
Fills can be posted wherever you like, but you must show that they are prompt fills for STONY Bingo (e.g. an author's note or a tag). We encourage (but do not require) you to post your fills to our AO3 collection (we now have a subcollection specifically for the 2025 round!), sharing your fic in the #bingo channel in our Discord Server, and/or mentioncap_ironman on Tumblr or Bluesky! Use the hashtag #stonybingo2025 so we can easily find your works and share them!
EXTENSIONS FOR LAST ROUND
STONY Bingo 2024 Round 2 ended yesterday and card requests for that round are now closed. In case you didn't post all your fills yet, don't fret. We're extending the deadline until February 28th. That means you can now request a card for the 2025 round, or still try to finish your card from last round, or both.
To claim your STONY Bingo 2024 Round 2 Badge, please email us at cap.im.events@gmail.com with your username and a list of the works you've created for Round 2 (or a link to your masterpost), and tell us which you've accomplished: row, column, diagonal or blackout! We'll email your badge to you! Please make sure to request your badge before March 15th.
