MA:A 27 scans! just a taste of the awesome
Behind the cut is a small taste of the awesome in Marvel Adventures: Avengers #27. Only nine panels, because otherwise I don't think I'd know where to stop. *g*

The guys responsible for the spam calls are the villains of the plot. But really, I share this one for Cap's "And...other stuff." :-D

Basketball! Is it strange of me to find Tony's underarm hair hot in this pic? Because I do. I totally do. Also, the way Steve's shirt is riding up. Yum. There's three pages of the basketball, too. Mmmmmmmm.

*chortles*

*chortles more*

Steve looks so much like a little kid here, it's adorable. He just wanted to get the distractions taken care of so that he could go for a burger with hisboyfriend buddy!
I suck at making icons, but I so have to make the attempt for this issue. :-D

I can't choose a favorite part either, but the fact that Steve, who is normally so polite and respectful and modest actually let go enough to mock Fancy Dan tickled me pink. *g*

I love how they're getting hot and sweaty together, and then Steve tries to make a burger date! Love it!

Regular canon sucks, I'm investigating into MA canon now XD

Socute! Sofunny! Sowonderful! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Oh, right, maturity. I am a mature individual. Really. *coughs*
This is definitely the true canon. Because true canon is where Tony and Steve get hot and sweaty together and then go out to eat together. ♥
"Fancy Dan strikes!" "Is Fancy Dan kidding?" <-I cannot stop giggling.

Pshaw, maturity is overrated. *g* Besides, one should react like a kid when reading comics for kids, right? *bg*

*nods firmly* Absolutely. That other canon is just a terrible, terrible dream.

Poor Fancy Dan. :-D How he thought he could challenge Captain America I will never know! And I love that Cap lets go of his ego enough here to mock. :-D

Have you looked closely at the scale-mail? It´s strangely...beautiful
That was a beautiful story^^
Who names himself "Fancy Dan" voluntarily?

It is! I love the art in Marvel Adventures. It's very much to my taste in art. A lot of the art in 616 titles...isn't.
Who names himself "Fancy Dan" voluntarily?
Who names themselves any of the villain names, in particular, voluntarily? *g* I mean, the Wasp and Ant-Man had a foe named "The Human Top" once. O.o

*laughs at the name* That's awesome. *grins* I hope you got a hold of the issue! Apparently it's been selling out.

Geez, Marvel! We get it! :P

Sometimes Marvel makes me rethink my attempts to remind myself that the official writers aren't actually shipping them. *g*

How has the rest of this series been for them? I've never read it

Yay! *grins* I totally want this issue to sell scarily well. It's the closest to saying to Marvel, "Hey! This is what we like!" *g*
Tony so totally deserves to be happy more often. Steve makes him happy. The solution is clear. *g*

Issues 1-19 are pretty good for Steve/Tony moments, although not so concentrated; they're usually interacting with the rest of the team, too. Issues 20-26 were pretty bare of interaction, though. I was pouting a lot. Which only made #27 more awesome. It was like they were trying to make up for the lack all at once. :-D
But even when Steve and Tony aren't interacting, Marvel Adventures is just fun in general.

Not that I regret it. Thanks for posting these lovely moments. They should tide me over until my shipment comes in. :D

Also, your icon is made of win!

...Also, what timeline are they working on? Is this an alternate universe in which the Civil War didn't happen, or is it a very long flashback story, or what? (When you first posted, I assumed it was an old issue that you'd just got around to reading, until I read some of the other comments and realised it was new *g*)

It's basically like What If: Marvel Comics Were Fun?

I totally didn't notice them until the third or fourth time through, but once I did, they totally made the panel! *g*

You have to wonder what the ordinary folks think sometimes! "I'm sure it must be code for...something..." *g*

Hopefully, the fact that it seems to be selling out will clue Marvel into the fact that fans want more comics where Steve & Tony go on dates (or at leastare together and happy).

You know, I don't think I've ever encountered cheeful bastard Steve. *g* He's always presented as a bit of a boy scout to me. But if this is an example, I like him!

We can hope! *crosses fingers* I'm so tempted to buy a second copy of the issue. Partly to reinforce those sales figures (hey, every little bit helps!) and partly so that I have a copy to cut up into pieces so that I can tack them up in strategic places around work in order to defuse work-induced-homicidal-rage. *g*
