Aftermath (Fanart)
Here is some hurt/comfort fanarts for you! And it's after-battle stoof.

Here's Cap and Tony, taking a breather after a long and difficult battle. Don't worry, Tony's ok....if not a little concussed or something...like always. Or maybe going into battle with unhealed wounds. *dabs at Tony's wounds with a cotton ball*
But Steve, being the ever-loving boyfriend, sees that Tony's hurting and helps him take off his helmet so he can get some fresh air, then proceeds to lower him to the ground and cradle him in his lap. D'awww. *squirms from the luvs*

Cap is such a protective teddy-bear of a man...especially when it comes to his Tony. And ESPECIALLY after a rough fight...with Tony coming out of it with old, unhealed wounds and such. It's just Steve's natural reaction to take his helmet off and cradle him. ^^

And the icon was actually an idea from crimsonquills. She mentioned it and I just had to do it. XD

Steve looks so anxious! It's great. The background makes it all the more romantic, if you ask it, good choice! Just... The whole composition of the picture makes me all happy. <3 *uses appropriate icon* :D

Yeah, I saw that cover too...and as much as I want to read it, I almost don't because of the amount of aaangst involved. And it's Steve!angst, which is harder for me than Tony!angst. I mean, we screw around with Tony so much, I'm used to his pain, but not Steve's! *hugs him*
I had a tough time with the background. I usually hate doing them, and I wanted to do something more realistic-looking, so I tried a new technique. Luckily, it worked. ^^

I love the lighting in this, too (I don't know anything about art, not being able to draw, but I imagine low-light scenes are hard to do).

I'm glad to hear Tony's armor looks nice, cause I usually don't do mechanical stuff. I'm an organic person, so anything with nuts and bolts is kinda difficult for me to do.
And of COURSE Steve has to be all ripped up and shredded...he's sexier that way! XD
Oh, and the hardest thing about low-light scenes is trying to get the lighting right, with the shadows and highlights and such. But the light source in this was at such an angle that it wasn't too hard to figure out. Also, if it's really dark then you can do little glowies from the arc reactor and stuff...which is ridiculously, irrationally fun to do. ^^
