cap_ironman | Fic - The Breaths We Take (Parts I and II)

Hey guys, I'm back with another long one-shot! :) This one's shorter than the 13k word thing though, so that's good news.

This was meant to be a prequel to my other super long one-shot (Mouth/Eyes), and it still is in a way, but it's also a sort of retelling of the Avengers history, as told through the Steve/Tony relationship, although this got wildly away from cannon and became something totally different, although most major cannon is still there. It starts from the beginning - Tony's origin - and progresses a year each section, ending with Civil War (slightly after it). I went with the 4 real years = 1 Marvel year thing, which makes both Steve and Tony on the young side when this starts (around 23 and 25).
