Ack! I am so ungodly behind in reading people's fic.

There are advantages, though! This way you get fic screened in advance, just in case a story turns out to be unhappy or badly done. *g* I keep stumbling across things and thinking, "Damn. Shouldn't have read that."

I've been trying to make a real effort to review everything I read for the fandom, and in practice that turns out to mean that I save reading things until I know I'll have time to review them, and then end up reading them all weeks later *blushes with shame*

Aww, no shame necessary! Making an effort to review everything is something to be proud of! And however you can make that work, that's how it goes. Me, I bookmark everything I read and enjoy and then require myself to review at least one thing every day. So sometimes it takes me weeks to review something I've read, but it does get done eventually. (I tried the "review immediately after reading" strategy and failed miserably at it the first time I got on a fic reading binge.)

I love the image of Steve all blissed out in the hot tub, and Tony turning on the jets to hide his own reaction to said image (and possibly to see if he can get Steve to look even more blissed out).

*grins* I think he's definitely hoping to magnify Steve's reaction. I didn't think of him needing to cover his own reaction, but you're so right, he would need too! :-D

And the halloween drabble is just cute ^_^.

It's funny, if I hadn't gotten that prompt I probably wouldn't have written anything like that, really, but I had fun with it once I got into it. For a superhero, Steve fits oddly well into ordinary life type things.

I especially love this bit -- because the irony probably is lost on Steve. Or he's determinedly ignoring it.

*nodding* I never decided which in my brain, but sometimes idealism takes a little (un)conscious maintenance. :-)

Thanks for the feedback!
