jetsuffragette got me thinking about what 616!Cap would be doing today, causing this little gag comic to come to mind. Sorry it's so rough. I didn't have a lot of time today. I was making cup cakes.
Anyway, whatever politics someone thinks Steve has/should have/used to have/whatever, I'm betting we can all agree that voting fraud = EXTREMELY anti-American and you know Steve would not tolerate it.

Thank you! Oh man Steve's expression actually kinda hard to nail down. I don't what it was but it took several tries to find a look of anger that fit him and the situation. But I'm glad it worked!

I've not actually read any Cap and Buck interaction post Winter Soldier (because they want 15.00 for each comic and I say NO) but the idea of Cap's enthusiastic idealism up against the reality of Bucky's situation was too much to resist.
I'm assuming presumed dead former teenage sidekick's who are now presumed dead(? I have the impression "officially' is assumed dead) former soviet assassins can't vote *L*

Plus I'm trying to reconcile with Winter Soldier. Drawing him small and cute helps (I have vast walls of denial around Bucky being alive that Bucky must surmount).
Hard enough dealing with him alive, but now he's Captain America which soooo is not right in my mind, which is why he's in is old outfit even though Steve is a Ghost -_-

Me, I'm up in Canada, and I'm glad we are sticking to paper ballots, good old paper ballots and apple pie.
How is the voted counted where you are anyhow? I tried to read wiki but it's connnfusssing me. Up here, we are divided into ridings, and parties put up a representative, people vote for that rep, votes are counted locally. People are hired every election (I worked in the last two), votes are hand counted at the poll, it's called in to the riding office. Rep gets elected as a Member of Parliament. The party with the most MPs wins. The Leader of the Party pick the members BEFORE the election, and can kick them out afterwards, but if that member is elected, they keep their riding spot as an independent.

Yes Cap will not tolerate that which screws up America, when it's as clearly right or wrong as that. And that was a stance I didn't feel nervous about having him take ^__^
