I made some icons. I was in a rare mood for it today.

Textless icons can be used as bases. I don't mind. In fact heck, if you want to edit out my text and add new text, knock yourself out.

Also, a quick note on the one s from my art. If you credit the art to me YAY! If not I'll live. For the record, my police on making icons from my art is: go for it. You don't even have to ask.

I have several reasons for this, but the main one is that I'm not more of a special snowflake than Bryan Hitch or any other artist, and I certainly didn't ask him if I could icon HIS art. So, I feel hypocritical demanding people ask me before they icon my art ^^

I *HAD* to. It is that line alone that cracked the denial wall around WS simply because at that point he amused me.

I went through a period of saying that to people who annoyed me which lasted until I said it to my younger sister in front of my father who was Not. Amused.

Now the denial wall is still firm around his being Capitan America and I still think is why-I'm-not-dead explanation is cracktasticly bad, but I can forgive his existence if he amuses me.

Plus there's great juxtaposition between Steve and Bucky.

Sadly Marvel got bit by the Stupid Bug again so there isn't any offical juxtaposition any more, and WS is just one more angsty character in a sea of angsty characters -_-

I'm sort of sad I haven't had more chance to play with him in ATR, but there really hasn't been the chance to bring him in a lot.

I'd love to see I fic where Tony becomes convinced Steve is still alive (at the bottom of the ocean or other wise) and James is the only one that believes him and helps.

Oh I can see him being hard to bring in given how Marvel opted to handle him (from what I can glean anyway, not owning all the comics ^^)

That actually would be awesome.

The best I've been able to do is one in which Steve buys him ice cream or dinner which is not as fluffy as it sounds. I'm just hesitant to push forward with it because I haven't read much with WS.

I'm not sure why that bothers me though. It's not like I uphold marvel canon when I write 0.o

James and Tony aren't very...fond of each other in most of what I've read. (Might have changed in SI but I refuse to by any of those books.)

No, I wouldn't think so. I'm still shocked Tony managed to convince Bucky not to kill him. Actually I need to work out what comic that happens in because I need to maybe buy it to assist in the making of crack.

I get like that though, I'm pretty good with most slash but every now and again some pairing just says NO to me.

Well . . . truthfully though if someone wrote this pairing well enough I'd probably get over it, but it's not one I could just accept without a boatload of build up . . like maybe if Tony died.

*snerk* Oh man, they find Steve but Tony dies as Steve is brought back. It's like the Gift of the Magi gone horribly wrong.

Duty Calls and Go Die are probably two of my faves, but I love grinning-in-uniform!Steve.
