   For all you who keep up on Secret Invasion and are interested in what seems to be one of the most utterly depressing periods of Tony's life:
   On November 11th a 'leaked ending' (apparently what happens in SI #8) was posted on wikipedia and removed a short time later. Considering how big of a deal they made about Tony turning out not to be a skrull? Not buying it.

Though it would be interesting and it would lend to my theory about Tony never having left the Skrull ship, it would ALSO be away from marvel to absolve Tony of all the shit they piled on him from the Civil war on.

They did, but the Skrulls also hacked Reed's brain to develop their tech with his mind. And stuff. So what they're saying in the article is that Reed's thing didn't work because it was a product of devious Skrullery and brain-hacking.

Like the space-time continuum. Doesn't make much sense, yet slightly believable because it doesn't make sense.

I agree, but what I said about it was that if Tony's a Skrull, then that fateful day, a Skrull posed as Cap was shot in the steps of the courthouse.

If it means marvel stops hating on Tony and making everything his fault, I'm so willing to have this Tony be a skrull. Just so long as it doesn't invalidate the confession scene - after all skrull Tony wouldn't know he was a skurll and if Tony loved Steve then Skrull Tony would love Steve.

I know. This is all messed up, which is why I'm hoping that this ending isn't real. I want Tony to take responsibility for what he did, then become himself again. His character's been warped far too much lately for me to tolerate.
Plus, face it, Tony being a Skrull is a HUGE cop-out.

Maybe it's a fake out? Like it's actually Tony, but the Skrulls made him look skrully and now no one will believe him and.... Or they are just taking the easy way out and be like Hey! It was never Tony, now love him again.

The Iron Man writer said he had a year long story planned for him recently, didn't he? So it's not like they'll just keep him out of the spotlight anyway.

This is Marvel and pink faeries that are Reed Richard's and Jean Grey's children from the future could have whisked Tony away to the 15th dimension right after Cap died so Tony could save their universe and Tony is currently shacked up with that universe's She-Hulk, who is magenta btw 0_-

And Skrull!Tony just filled that void.

I definitely want to get one. It's just a matter of saving the money, finding a good parlor (I have a friend who has a LOT of ink, so she should be able to tell me where to go), and making absolutely sure I won't regret it ever (I doubt I would, but I've been in fandoms before that I am very glad I never went through any tattoo plans)
