Evening, everyone. muccamukk has been banished to the Negative Zone. As you all know, the Negative Zone has unreliable internet, so I'll be doing the cap_ironman/cap_ironman newsletter this week. And please direct any questions to me or valtyr for the next few weeks.

First things first - there's a new beta list, so please consider signing up there!

Marvel has spiffed up their official Avengers Movie site, and it is really, really shiny. ComicBookMovie.com points out that a line in Loki's bio may hint at a plot point. Marvel has also released new banners to be displayed in theaters. Here's an interview with Joss Whedon about characterization and working with the actors, and an interview with Alan Silvestri, who will score the Avengers movie. On the comics side of things, here are sneak peaks of Avengers #20 and Invincible Iron Man #511.

That Avengers movie site is extremely shiny indeed. Plus when you go to the gallery, the first picture that comes up is the one of Steve and Tony standing next to each other and looking so handsome. And it's the size of my screen! I could look at this all night and I just might.

Funnily enough, when I clicked on the gallery the website froze on that picture of Steve and Tony. I was like, well, I'd like to see the other pictures but this is very relevant to my interests. ;-)

I swear, every time I this newsletter goes up and there's stuff (so much stuff!), I catch myself skimming over the links looking for DW. Always no dice.

Oh geeze, a sad disney character... you really bring out the big guns, don't you? Are you looking for a particular kind of post on DW, or just anything? (The first link this week was DW, btw, but compared to the 12 LJ links I guess that's not much.)

I haven't forgotten the prompt! I've just been busy. And my brain has a hard time deciding between movieverse and 616.

Almost anything would do. It makes me sad that the DW comm is so quiet. :( So very sad.
