You can bet that Steve is milking Tony's guilt for all it's worth -- in the most principled way imaginable, of course -- but really, The Avengers? A resurrected Steve is a Steve without mercy, clearly. :)

Did he seriously want to spend the rest of his life in the arctic with Steve?

Considering Tony's current woes, I think he'd be delighted to freeze in a tent with only Steve for company for about a decade or so. :)

for some reason, the funniest part of the fic is the animals pausing and gazing up at the sky, hearing Tony's agonized scream........the whale...lol......i love your style, and the homage to The Confession in the last panel is priceless...still loving your art!! ^___________^

I had to change one of the animals, but they're all still very much taken aback. Such a horrible sound of earsplitting anguish. ;)

So much love. I love how you manage to kind of break style with the exaggerated faces but still have them recognizably the same characters. I seriously, seriously cracked up at the bottom two panels of the second page. Hilarious and very well drawn, ~it's perfect~

Hee, thanks. The minute Cap opens his mouth about reforming teams in this universe, I fear Tony only sees a demon backlit by the garish flames of hell. Poor Tony, he just can't win. But he's much more loveable that way, so it's all good. ;)

You've got both penguins (South Pole) and polar bears (North Pole); I'm very confused about the location.

That aside, this is beautiful. Although, if Cap is going to send Tony out to fish like that, he shouldn't be surprised if he ends up back in the ice. *g*

*facepalm* I guess that's why I couldn't find ref in my BOOK OF FARGING ARCTIC ANIMALS, huh?

Um, Tony's cry of anguish is actually audible at the South Pole? No? Okay, I can fix this. :)

Tony's so tragically in love... and of course in this scenario, after he finally stops whimpering and screaming, he falls in line and helps Cap restart the team. Because it's Cap.
