Well, I just checked my f-list, saw a post at scans_daily  about a new Marvel solicitation.....and my jaw dropped.


It´s the Sentient Armor!  Really - look at the helmet-design and the glowy shoulder thing - that, ladies and gentlemen, is the Sentient Armor Design!

Yay, I loooove that storyline. That would be so fantastic, yeah!

...also, why is Namor wearing something other than his speedo?

(Dear mods, I know that this isn´t really Steve/Tony material...but I had to do it!.

I hope that they are really including the armor, not just an "outdated" suit and they picked this one by random

But the stories that are forming inside my mind.....hell yeah, that´s gonna be goooood^^

Here's one reason to think it's our beloved SA and not some random suit... at the end of IM 9, Tony's soldering himself into an outdated armor, and I'm told it's the suit from Heroes Reborn or whatever the heck that mess was called, not the SA version. So this is independent of that.

Oh, clever. I'm so stoked.

God knows. I never would have noticed, but for my pal who is a living encyclopedia of all things Iron Man. He thought it was a hoot that they bothered to make it not only outmoded, but accurately outmoded.

No wait, I screwed that up. I'm talking to the very lad right now and he says both this armor, and the one in IM #9 are from Heroes Return (not Heroes Reborn)arc and it's not the sentient armor at all.

DAMN IT

I though replied to this already, but I think Windows ate the comment. Hopefully the Mac will fare better. ^^;;

Just speculating here, but considering the armour was at one point sentient (and ignoring the whole Ultron and the Sons of Yinsin storyline) could Tony have chosen that armour specifically because it has the proven ability to house a consciousness?
... and I don't want to say anymore in case I throwing out any more spoilers.
