Ooh, I love nerdy questions about canon! *skips off to stash of seventies comics inherited from father*

Right! Avengers 211, September 1981. Bloody Moondragon turns up to ruin everyone's day, i.e. choose a new Avengers team, in the process of which she telepathically freezes Steve, Thor and Tony in place. Tony gets away by activating his bootjets and flying through the ceiling. Whilst up in the air and out of range, so to speak, Tony rather handily thinks to himself:

"Brainwaves are electro-magnetic in nature -- so I can tune my built-in tranceiver toemit a microwaves signal that'll jam her psionic powers! She'll feel like she's got static on every channel!"

And it works. It should be noted, though, that Moondragon does say she'll regain control if she concentrates, but happily Thor's hammer is a fair distraction, Avengers save the day. It's a temporary way in which Tony can repulse telepaths, though, although if he didn't then get away and knock them out or what have you they'd probably be able to overcome it.

Concerning Avenger telepaths, I can't think of any others. Telepaths are far more common among mutants.
