Happy Valentine's Day, Cap_Iron Man bbs

Not so much, but I earned a night off so I dashed off a Tony/Steve gen thingie. I have a another version saved without the hearty bg if anyone wants to use it as a base.

(erm, and this is my fantasy casting for movie!Tony and Steve. RDJ and that killer handsome dude from Mad Men, heh.)

That's one of the best Steves I've ever seen- he can pull off the American Icon (TM) look, but he's also juust a little mischievous. Great expression. And I love the general slightly "sketchy" feel of the finished piece; it makes them feel more alive.

Really? Did you send it to me, because there was a glitch in the form a few weeks ago that I only noticed, like, yesterday.

I'll take a look at the gallery ASAP. Though there have been a bunch of issues with it lately, so I'm considering whether a switch to another system might not be a better idea.

LOVE Tony here, his face, the light of his hair, and man, his eyes. It's all gorgeous, a perfect blend of RDJ and comicverse for me. Steve's smile is great as well, Steve's smile is such an important part of his character for me. x)

He's some guy from a show called Mad Men. Teh Internetz have been mentioning him as a good movie!Steve, so I checked him out. We should be so lucky, is what I'm thinking. ;)

I love Steve's little smile, and their *hair* and the sort of slightly pinish glow lighting Tony from the left (also, while I've never actually seen this Mad Men guy who's obviously destined to play Steve, Tony *really* looks like RDJ here, whch is impressive in a comics-style sketch).

My fantasy casting would be a young Val Kilmer as Cap, mostly because he has such nice chemistry with RDJ, but if that cannot be, well, this Mad Men fellow is pretty easy on the eyes. :D

Thank you! I've been doing more Cap canon reading, and occasionally, it seems, he can be good-naturedly sly. I love earnest!Steve with my whole heart, but a little range is always good. Hence thinking the Mad men actor might be an okay choice...

Oh, when will they make that movie? I hope Marvel doesn't blow it. *counts the days*

I've been vying for John Barrowman or Aaron Eckhart, but your choice makes sense, too.

I love this. I have a healthy respect for anyone who can do digital art and yours is always awesome. I don't know who that guy is but he is very similar to how I see Steve so he gets my vote.
