For me i can best sum up the WHOLE civil war thing and the thing with SHIELD with two words, and it makes sense to me, and its quite incredibly sneaky when you realize how far back into the past it goes... like even farther than the secret invasion thing goes back. Those two words would be "Hail, HYDRA!!! :D
