The Mystery of the Missing Fic

Hello--I'm pretty much a newbie to the cap_ironman scene, so I thought I'd better introduce myself .... I'm here by way of the Superman/Batman fandom, originally. In my continual quest for new fanfic, I found some Bruce/Tony, and from there got sucked into the wonderful thing that is Captain America and Iron Man slash. And while I've never been a huge fan of either of their comics (though I love the new movie to pieces), if some of the seriously gorgeous fanfiction posted here was turned into Marvel canon, you'd bet my bippy I'd be buying a lot more comics!

I do have an ulterior motive for posting, however--there was a fic posted here recently where Tony got hit with gamma radiation and turned into a Hulk-like creature. I think it was called High Tide? (I don't remember who posted it, sadly...) I had it bookmarked, but now the entire entry has disappeared--anyone have any idea what happened to it?

And just so I'm not a complete leech--in case anyone's interested, I've archived all the links I've found to my favorite cap/iron man fanfic on Delicious! You can find them here .

Caveat emptor: I'm an inveterate reader, but really particular about my 'keepers'--most are probably already well-known to the comm, but maybe there's one or two lesser widely-distributed ones that people will like. :D And if anyone else has Delicious fanfic bookmarks they'd like to share, I'd love to see them!

Oh hey I wrote the Hulk fic! But I am kind of spastic D: I wasn't really happy with the end of it, so I took it down, I was going to redo it and then either post it on my fic journal or the Tales of Suspense site when it was redone. Most of the time I just edit the pages but ijoawtroij yeah idk.

Oh yay--I'm glad it still exists! ^__^;;; I love your writing style--your dialogue seems so natural and true to the characters, which I know is really tough to write--so I hope very much that you put it up again for public consumption, and I will even be patient (maybe) while you work on it. Though I may stalk your journals a lot in the meantime ... :P

lol oh jeez, thank you! I'm flattered you like it, but I probably won't be able to touch it again until after the bigbang ^^; so that's.. a bit of a wait.

When is the deadline for bigbang anyway? I keep hearing about it, but I have no idea what it's about, really....

Not that I'm being impatient! :D Personally, I love to read whatever you write, so it's all good for me. And hey, if you need a beta-reader or whatnot, I'd be happy to volunteer ... either way, tho, I shall wait with bated breath! :)
