Question is, would Tony think Extremis was a fair trade for Steve...considering he thinks he needs it to be a better hero/live up to Steve? Only, I just read the Cap's back fic where Tony's body is in a coma and he' using Extremis to power lots of his suits because 'he's better that way', and the angst of Tony agonizing over giving up the pinnacle of his accheivements in order to get Steve back...a Steve who is majorly unhappy with him... And of course, he'd never TELL Steve that he did that...but if Steve found out...
