Character Sheets: Info grab
It seemed like the character sheet idea was pretty well received :3 So I thought I might get to organizing it. Again, this is going to be a group effort, and a long one at that I suspect.
The actual means of which the character sheets will be put together is still a bit up in the air at the moment. I could certainly host them on my personal site since it's not doing anything, but I'm open to suggestions. We can worry about it later *waves hand*
So, this is an info gathering post.
Basically any facts you come across and think should be out there, whether they be well known or not. Simple bullet points will do. Preferably with a source of specific issues or official Marvel lit. If you don't have a specific source, the info can still be used but will be listed as "unverified" until someone can find the actual reference. The idea behind this is to be quick, accurate information for writers, role players, new comers, or anyone else who might just need it.
Canon other than 616 is more than welcomed, though please label the universe (movie, Ultimate, MA, etc).
On the actual sheets, everything will be broken down into categories. Here are just a few I had in mind:
Personal Life -- things like info on family, where they live/have lived, education might be thrown in there if no given a separate category.
Life Before -- facts about their life before they became a superhero
Love Life -- information on who the character has been involved with, preferably with issue numbers spanning the relationship.
Enemies -- People the character as been at odds with
Allies -- People the character is allies with (this would include characters like Pepper for Tony)
Other Facts -- Things that don't fit anywhere else
Of course there could be categories personalized for the characters. Another other ones feel free to suggest.
I realize this is a slash community, but I would like to information to span the entire canon, not just Steve and Tony's relationship. Idly these could be used by all fans, not just fans of the pairing. And, I'd like to have more sheets than just Tony and Steve as well
Here's some examples of what I'm looking for. I'm using Tony mainly because I know his canon the best:
Personal Life:
-- Double majored in Physics and Engineering (Iron Man: WarMachine TBP p. 226, actual issue # to come)
-- Parents died when he was 21 (Director of SHIELD TPB)
-- There are two “Stark Houses,” one in Southampton, Long Island (vol.1 104) and one in Seattle, Washington (vol.3 27)
You don't have to be an expert on canon to contribute. Any scrap of information will help.
If you have any questions, feel free to post them here, PM, or IM me. Info's in my profile.
Thanks everyone.

They can always be hosted on talesofsuspense.net, since it's there for the use of the comm, just give me a heads up and we can work out the best way to put them up.
Also, hey just a thought -- will all verses be listed on one page with some kind of symbol, or will there be separate character sheets for 616, Ultimates, ect.?

Yesh, yesh, feel free to post anything you have. This post was put up to be a dumping ground. I figured it'd be best rather than having things sent to me so people could see what was already posted and maybe make corrections.
I was thinking of just having separate sheets for the separate universes, just so they don't get bogged down. I guess it'll depend on how in-depth the other verses' sheets get.
Ultimates characters (I'll get back to you re: issue numbers)
Speaks several languages fluently
Has been working since he was fifteen.
Took an entire year to stay home and look at the internet, 'just because'
Tony Stark is an avid multitasker, and a quick reader.
Nick Fury calls him 'Monopoly Man'
Suffers from depression (Jarvis his former manservant told this little tit bit to the butler's meeting, calls it 'the black dog').
Tony might have been blackmailed by Jarvis, sadly, Jarvis died before this secret was revealed.
Tony Stark is the third richest man in America. He's a multi billionaire.
Fell in love with Natasha Romanov because she reminded him of himself... with breasts. I... have no words.
Tony Stark might be Catholic. When Bruce Banner was on the carrier to be blown up, Tony dropped a rosary into Bruce's hand before he flew away.
Ultimate Iron Man (Orson Scott Card characterisation)
Tony's mother, Maria Stark died in childbirth
Tony Stark's relationship with his father is prickly, but fairly positive.
Ultimate Howard Stark was married twice. His first wife divorced him for Stane, but that didn't work out. He fell in love with Maria Stark.
Tony Stark drinks as a sort of pain management (I don't think this is picked up on in The Ultimates canon)
Tony Stark met James Rhodes (a scholarship student) at a private school.
Tony Stark can regenerate his limbs, he just needs food, and some time alone.
Ultimate Tony Stark is half Hispanic. His middle name is Michael. His first name - his father named him after Maria's brother.
Ultimate Steve Rogers
Unlike his 616 counterpart, Ultimate Steve Rogers doesn't draw.
Steve Rogers, before he got injected with the Super serum, had a gimp leg.
Despite Banner saying otherwise, Steve Rogers was actually intelligent, and was cited as such even before the super serum.
Bucky Barnes actually protected Steve from bullies in their tenement neighbourhood when they were boys.
Bucky Barnes worked as a photographer for the New York Post, and other assorted newspapers before retiring.
Bucky Barnes has cancer.
Gail and Bucky have children. They look after their daughter's grandchidren (Sharon, I think her name is) while she goes to work.
Every Saturday, Steve goes through the telephone book, looking for the names of his friends, only to find out that they died twenty years ago.
Every Sunday, Steve goes to church. He's Catholic.
Ultimates characters (continued)
In the comic, Betsy Ross and Janet Pym were roomies at college, doing sciences... before Betsy decided to go into communications. In the Ultimate Avengers cartoon, Betsy Ross was a scientist.
Betsy Ross told Steve and Tony about Janet and Hank's relationship in college when Jan had to be hospitalised after she and Hank well...
Betsy Ross gets turned on by Bruce Banner when he's the incredible Hulk.
Ultimate Bruce Banner
He and Ultimate Tony Stark share a mini series called Ulimate Human written by Warren Ellis. This is where that flying metal pyjamas of death line comes from.
Bruce Banner is a timid, brilliant scientist. His incredible Hulk is articulate (unlike the 616 counterpart) and rather crude.
Bruce Banner still hasn't gotten over Betsy Ross. She's the one who dumped him, calling him a toxic influence.
Ultimate Nick Fury
He's black. He looks like Samuel L. Jackson. (I wish they'd given Gabe Jones this role if they'd wanted a kick ass minority character instead of making Nick Fury black but I digress!)
Nick Fury enjoys his job, although it's akin to herding cats.
Nick Fury calls Tony Stark 'Monopoly man'. In the Ultimates books, he thinks that Tony Stark is a garden variety booze hound.
Ultimate Thor
In the first two Ultimates trades, Thor speaks standard English. In Loeb's run (Ultimates 3 and Ultimatum he speaks archaic English.
Ultimate Thor and Ultimate Tony Stark have a warm relationship. After their first battle together as a team, they stood around laughing and talking for a half an hour.
Tony Stark believed in Thor's powers way before everyone else.
Thor's half brother is called Loki. Loki calls him Thorlief.
Thor was a mental patient in a psychiatric hospital.
Thor gave himself up so that Steve could live in Ultimatum.
Ultimate Hawkeye
Hawkeye uses a crossbow in this universe. He's adept with guns, and can even use his fingernails to disarm his opponents. Ewww.
Hawkeye had a family - they were assassinated on Natasha Romanov's orders - I need to research this and get back to you.
Hawkeye killed Natasha Romanov with an arrow to the head when she was recuperating in the hospital from Tony Stark's attack.
In the first two Ulimates trades Hawkeye wears a buzz cut. In Ultimates 3 and Ultimatum, Hawkeye does not.
Ultimate Hank Pym and Janet Pym
Janet Pym is Asian in this universe. She has a relative (an aunt, I think?) who's a clothing designer.
Jan and Hank were college sweethearts, and stone cold nerds in college.
They signed on to the Ultimates team in order to 'start over'.
Janet Pym is a mutant. In the Ultimates comics, they don't say why she's 'disgusting' but in the Ultimate novels, she eats wooden pencils, and her spittle turns the wood pulp into paper. She also lays eggs in sheets.
Jan and Hank had a fight on the same night Tony, Thor and Steve met for their first meal together as a team.
Janet's injuries from fighting with were extensive, Hank ran from the scene of the crime.
Hank was kicked off the Ultimates team after hitting Jan.
Jan and Steve dated shortly after.
Jan started seeing Hank again towards the end of Ultimates vol 2.
Jan and Steve were off and on in Ultimates 3.
Steve freed Black Panther in order to wear his costume and stand in his stead so that he could be close to Jan (I have no words).
Jan was the leader of The Ultimates after Tony Stark took control of the team (refer to Ultimate Saga).
In Ultimatum Hank dies. He hands over Jan's body to Tony to make a new Jocasta. (WAT?)
Natasha Romanov
Tony and herself had sex in the men's room before their first mission together as a team.
Natasha got implants that contributed to her strength, and over all abilities.
Tony Stark proposed to Natasha by arranging people in her village to spell out 'Will You Marry Me?' on a field.
Tony Stark and Natasha Romanov had 'his and hers' Ironman suits. Natasha's suit was black.
Jarvis died by Natasha Romanov's hand. A bullet to the head.
Natasha Romanov was going to kill Tony Stark, he disabled her by activating the nanoites in her blood, and he knocked her unconscious with a wine bottle. Yum.
That's all I can remember for now, tbh.
Re: Ultimates characters (continued)
I'd also like to add to the "Black Dog" bit concerning Tony, since I happen to have it at easy access :3 :
One of the fellow butlers says "Don't tell me he's had another suicide attempt." (Ultimates 2 #2)
And the bit about Thor being a mental patient: I thought that was a trick by Loki? Maybe I was mistaken about that bit.
Yeah, I think it was a trick
So, yeah, I'm inclined to believe that he was a mental patient before he saw Odin.
Re: Yeah, I think it was a trick
off the top of my head...
Steve
- Born in 1917 (makes him TWENTY-EIGHT in 1945 when he went down (or 27, but definitely not 21))
- Three months of art school
- Used to be a paper boy (which is adorable)
Tony
- Was sent to boarding school at age 8 (probably new england or penn. as best options for boarding). didn't have any friends, kept his nose in a book.
- was sent away to europe between ages 13 and 15 for liking the daughter of one of howard's competitors. was the ONLY time he was home to see his mother since he was sent away
- started MIT at 15, graduated with dual majors in physics and engineering masters at 19 (not suma whatever - MIT doesnt offer those)
Ultimates (cont)
In the Ultimates verse Jarvis is homosexual. He lusts after Thor and Captain America. When Thor and Captain America come to Tony's apartment, Jarvis is wearing his best vest (LOL), Tony ribs him about that.
Jarvis has been known to steal petty cash to finance his vacations. In the first Ultimates issue, Tony Stark directs Happy to call Jarvis and tell him to haul ass back to New York (Jarvis was in Morocco at the time).
In The Ultimates novels, Tony Stark tends to take Jarvis with him when he's away for long stretches at a time (the gentleman's gentleman)
Jarvis exists in The Ultimates but not in Ultimate Iron Man. So one assumes that Stark and Jarvis didn't meet until Stark was an adult.
Jarvis and Romanov dislike each other. Jarvis only serves Rmanov if he's serving Tony.
If Romanov and Stark had gotten married, one assumes that Romanov would have cut Jarvis loose, she hints as much.
Ultimates Wanda and Pietro
Both are brother and sister. Both are Magneto's children (possibly)
When first introduced, Wanda and Pietro are in Venice, sharing a Gondola. Pietro is reading a poem to Wanda written by an English poet called Lord Bryon. It's supposed to be tongue in cheek, since Bryon was attracted to his half sister.
For the first two years of the Ultimates verse, Pietro and Wanda's 'close' relationship as brother and sister is hinted at. This is implied in Ultimate Saga (it's a comic where Tony Stark speaks about his teammates, when the Ultimates Team moves from government control to his sponsorship), touched on in Ultimate Power (when Tony says to Steve, "She's so hot, if only she weren't so into her brother..."
Peitro and Wanda's incestuous relationship is confirmed in Ultimates 3. When Captain America asks Wanda to dress a tad more modestly (for the sake of the team), Pietro sternly tells Captain America that the only side Wanda is on, is his.
Captain America is astonished at the implications, Jan tells him to get over it (WAT?)
Wanda has a wandering eye, and Pietro is intensely jealous of whomever has his sister's affections, no matter how imagined. Wanda flirts with men, robots.
Ultron kills Wanda before Pietro has a chance to declare his love to her. It's snowing in New York when she dies. Pietro tries to save her by catching the bullet, but it goes through the palm of his hand, and Wanda dies of a gun shot wound to the gut, I think.
Wanda and Pietro might be half brother and sister, not 100 percent biologically related. Wolverine might be Wanda's biological father. He's unsure.
Wolverine saw Pietro and Wanda making out.
Wanda is a powerful witch, and seems to have less angst over her powers in 1610 verse than in 616 verse. In Ultimate Power she turned the tide in the heroes' favour when she ripped a hole in the universe (just... don't) and got help.
Miscellaneous events
Tony and Natasha made a sex tape back when things were happy. In Ultimates 3, it begins with the sex tape being released by an unknown source.
This unknown source is found out to be Ultron (iirc)
Re: Ultimates (cont)
Yeah, Loeb's run on Ultimatum has been shyte
But I do like the Ultimates verse, I'm just sitting out Ultimatum though. Ewww.
I do hope this helps. I am very familiar with the Ultimates canon, because I've written more stories for Ultimates than 616.
Re: Yeah, Loeb's run on Ultimatum has been shyte
once you start doing sheets and 'official stuff'
