For the Spring challenge!

So, this is the first post from me on the comm - please alert me if I've done something stupid!

Author: [livejournal.com profile] deviouslint
Title: Action (or, Reason #79 Why Tony Stark Can't be Left Unattended)
Rating: PG-13... for action figure sex?
Word Count: 200 words exactly!
Beta: none, though I made [livejournal.com profile] lupus_dragon look at it.
Genre: fluff/humor
Summary: Tony never played with action figures as a kid, but Cassie's were just lying there and, well, he was bored.
A/N: This would have to fit in the 616 timeline before Avengers Disassembled. This is my first solo post on the comm (eek!), so any feedback for my slightly cracky submission is welcome.

“Tony!” Steve sounded scandalized. “What are you doing with Cassie’s toys?”

“Nothing!” His denial could have worked if he hadn’t sounded so guilty. Tony had never played with action figures as a kid. These weren’t really action figures; they were three inches high and looked like they’d been abducted from an animated feature. The Iron Man figure was ducked in a permanent crouch, which meant that the Captain America figure was exactly the right height to line up crotch-to-ass with the Iron Man one. Iron Man’s outstretched hand, clearly designed to be delivering a repulsor blast, leaned on Cap’s shield. “I didn’t do it.”

“What are you, four?” Steve glanced at the table. Tony had arranged an audience – the Crimson Dynamo, Red Skull, and Titanium Man were looking on.

“Yes. No. I mean... you weren’t here! It’s not my fault she left them out in the living room,” Tony grumbled. Damn it. “Oh, come on. I didn’t design them. And it’s not my fault they fit perfectly. I was bored.”

“Obviously.” Steve looked at the toys and gave a resigned sigh. “Come on. If you’re willing to forgo the audience...”

Smirking, Tony followed him to their room.

Oh lol. That's funny! I hope they disarranged the toys before leaving...

"I didn't want to break this to you Cassie, but Iron Man and Captain America are perverts!"

Fun little fic for, just what I needed on a rainy day.

*G* Those toys WERE meant to be arranged like that! The Cable and Deadpool ones just cling to each other.

Lovely little ficlet, nice little humorous pick me up for my sick day.

It's like I keep telling people MJ/Matt/Peter is the only way to go.

I approve of this cracky submission! (Tony Stark: Dangerous When Bored)

I'd be doing this if I had the figures.

Very very funny~

Yay! friends! ::friends back:: of course i don't mind!

Where i work there's a Midas Auto right next door and the owner has a few of the Superhero squad thingy minis onthe window sill of his office window XD like Hawkeye and Cap, and i don't remeber what others.

OMG, it's the superhero squad figures! I recognize the poses you're describing (the best part is that Tony comes both with and without the helmet, allowing for Sentient Armor action figure pron as well). I think my favorite part may be the scandalized supervillain audience.

Now they just need to release a Wanda and Pietro so we can all complete our Avengers set.

Jan we were lucky enough to find in Walmart (she comes packaged with the Hulk, I think). Hank, we searched for endlessly until finally breaking down and ordering him off amazon.
