I came across this WWII picture today, and it just *cries out* to be a story inspiration for a story challenge.

I think it's almost better without the story behind it, because it's a mystery, but if you want some background, here's a link.

It's nice to look at, really nice. If I had a better printer, I'd print it out and use it as inspiration. Woot.

Oh, it's a great story, but the whole mystery aspect was great for story ideas. How *did* Steve (well, I saw him as Steve, thus the post :) ) come to be naked at his post? Was he canoodling with someone in the back of the plane when there was an ambush? Did the Red Skull capture him and strip him naked and there wasn't any time to find clothes during the daring escape?
