Marvel Team Up V3 issues 1-6: IMAGE HEAVY.

This is one of my all-time favorite comics ever, very full of Steve/Tony, but as I mention it in passing to people, I realize it's not all that well known. So, stop me if you've heard this one.

ONE MORNING the Fantastic Four eats breakfast, as they tend to do, and their home is busted in by a screaming cloaked figure:

as screaming cloaked figures tend to do.

Because all attempts of tricking you into believing this is regular business would fail miserably, as I'm pulling it out for selective reading, I'll just cut to the chase, after a grand battle:

HOLY FUCKING BALLS AMIRITE.

IAMRITE.

Tony's beautiful face what happened to it tony

He beats them pretty bad and oh man this is the worst. Just the worst. There's no way it could get any more worst than it

DDDDDDDD:

The power source he detected is a character we'll meet later, who is currently being attacked by the Hulk, and Tony goes to save him!

Wowie, maybe he's not all that bad? He's still a Tony Stark we know at his core, a good and decent

DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD: oh frick no we were right the first time, he is ugly and evil

So he gets the kid (who is a total snot, I'm not sure if any of the scans I'm going to show you properly details it, but he is)

I see you eyeing that phone young man perhaps you are thinking of calling a certain teacher of yours named Peter Parker who you figured out is Spiderman. That would be a wise move.

MEANWHILE X-23 happened to be staring at the right screen when the blip of energy was detected at the mansion. Which leads to:

Der's a fight

JUST THEN
Cap and Natasha are on the Helicarrier and learn about what's happening. Cap's reaction is pretty non-existent, but here's some delicious man meat anyways:

Nnngkjfdgkj look at that back, jesus

lol AND THEN

omgomgomg

lol right to the face, goddamn

SPEAKING OF FACES gkljadgfkl;da

LOL D:

noble last words.

Second favorite page in the whole thing~

First favorite:

A date <3<3<3<3 AAAND that's the end of the first Evil Tony adventure! I was going to include the second one in this post, but this has gotten kind of ridiculously long, so I'll do that like tomorrow or something. : )

Note: This is a lot of scans, but all this was over the course of 6 issues, so I think I did pretty good?

Steve refuses to answer that.

Like really strong manly sweat, and cigars

Drinking it will give vampires lung cancer.

Wait, what is Tony's health status at this point?

[identity profile] hohaiyee.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I find it funny that Tony mentioned spare liver before spare heart. Drinky Drinky time.

You know, it'll be really cool if fake blood gets as good as the real thing, so much that it can be used for recreational use. As in, you get to drink as much as you want, but once you get drunk, all you have to do is replace your blood with alcohol-free blood! Party forever! I got this idea from Ray Bradbury's book...

Does Tony now insist on screening employees by blood type? NO-ONE WITH A+ ANYWHERE IN THE SAME BUILDING AS STEVE.

Like licking an ashtray. Bleagh.

Well Tony hasn't clued in quite yet, but he's close to it. And they're in the Avengers mansion in this. Tony's is mostly D: because Steve keeps going and sleeping on the helicarrier and Tony is starting to think he and Fury have something going on (other than the fact Steve keeps pinning him to the practice maps and sniffing his throat).

Jan has actually guessed correctly what Steve's problem is but no one believe her Twilight reading self.

This sounds hysterical. I am definitely looking forward to it. GO JAN. SKIN OF A KILLER!

I would just like to remind you about the extremely large blood vessels that are close to the surface of the inner thigh. In case they had slipped your mind.

[identity profile] kijikun.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Hehe. I know. The first time Steve drinks Tony's blood will be from his wrist though. Steve has...issues with drinking blood from people. And considering he was raised in a time where the idea of a 'good' vampire was no existent. Sometimes Steve doubts he has a soul.

...Stop stealing other people's plot bunnies. No, seriously!

Stupid fandom hivemind!

in my CW AU.
This makes me happy.

[identity profile] kijikun.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you want this? Because you can so have this! As long as I get mirror!Tony bound and on his knees, and freaked out about why Steve is being so kind to him and not fucking him or punishing him

[identity profile] dorcas-gustine.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not exactly like this, but I (well, I and my secret!co-conspirator) have an Epic fic that started as an hypothetical evil!Steve fic. And then it grew.

And grew.

And grew.

[identity profile] kijikun.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I think there is room for more than one mirror!Steve fic.

Re: mua ha ha

[identity profile] schmevil.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, maybe. Steve lives, but is imprisoned.

[identity profile] dorcas-gustine.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
No mirro!Steve in our fic. Just plain old 616!Steve. :D

[identity profile] kijikun.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah there are two Steve in this bunny. Mirror!Steve and 616!Steve. 616!Steve at some point with realize that if he's there then Mirror!Steve is in his world and omg he has to go save Tony!

That means some of NA: Illuminati has happened. The skrulls are on their way, baby. Was Hulk spaced pre-NAI?

Also, you could have Steve discovering the Illuminati and going after them. Where has Xavier gone? No one knows. Dun dun dun. He convinced Blackbolt and Namor to stay out of it. He somehow temporarily neutralized Steven (although he's active again in your resistance). Reed just plain got away (smartest man alive, after all). And he captured Tony outright (because he knows ALL the codes).

You know it's me, dorky. I like dark, twisted :( fics.

Re: mua ha ha

[identity profile] schmevil.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
True. :) Although I wouldn't call this dark. Steve isn't tortured or anything. Actually, he becomes a rallying point for peaceful (and not so peaceful) resistance to the New World Order. And while he and Tony are on opposite sides, they're actually talking (arguing), so.

Now that I think about it, it's substantially happier than canon...

Re: mua ha ha

[identity profile] kijikun.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Hell, Tony probably came to him willingly because Tony trusts Steve so damn much. And Tony didn't know what Steve was really planning and he they could talk about this -- and he figure maybe something was controlling Steve.

With Stephen Strange who knows -- though in my head he and Pepper are together in his universe (and lets face it a great many in my head), so maybe she was able to get word to him via Tony to go into hiding. Which might explain how she kept from being killed or captured, if she was in hiding with him.

Nah, no skrulls in this. And Spider-Woman is dead dead dead.

Re: mua ha ha

[identity profile] schmevil.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Authorial fiating the skrulls out? I can dig it. ;)

How did you come to start shipping those two in the first place?

[identity profile] dorcas-gustine.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
You're not dropping this one on me. Nu-uh. I'm only watching from the sidelines! :D

Re: mua ha ha

[identity profile] kijikun.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't even remember. I think it was something my original co-writer on All That Remains said and it just sort of clicked in my head. They're a good match I think, and hell even Wong/Pepper/Strange works rather well if you think about it.

Re: mua ha ha

[identity profile] schmevil.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not really up on Strange canon. So, yeah. :)

I'm sure they'd be cute, though.

[identity profile] kijikun.livejournal.com 2009-05-26 09:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I think Dr. Strange gets sent to mirror!verse too - without the switching I think. If only so I can have Stephen Strange having a conversion with himself.

Ooh, I need to had Wong to the list of the dead.
