The Little Things
As he entered Steve's room, Tony tried to ignore the giddy four-year-old inside him.
"In a 1942 interview, you mentioned you wanted to see Pinocchio when you got home," Tony announced.
Steve shrugged, "So?"
Tony held up two tickets. "A theater down the way is playing it."
Steve glanced at the second ticket and Tony put on the best mask of his life. "Don't read too much into that. The movie happens to be a favorite of mine."
Steve paused then smiled almost shyly. "That . . . actually sounds nice."
Inside Tony, a four year old whooped with glee.
