I kinda viewed the begging as more evidence that Tony's mind is going. He literally couldn't think of anything else to do. Pre-brainwipe Tony never would've behaved like that. I think Whitney may be right in her guess that Tony can't lie anymore, which ought to make for some interesting conversations in the next issue.
