Brain Delete
Just a little discussion of sorts, because I want to know what do you think about my "theory"
Tony is erasing his brain, yes, we know that.
However I don't really think he will end up stupid, you know? Because it would happen as in a computer (After all the guy has Extremis).
When you just wipe out all the information, the data is gone, but the whole system is still there.
So, my conclussion.
Tony may be wiping out his mind, but the genious and everything that allowed him to do what he did is still there, he just needs to re-learn it.
Like some sort of amnesia or something.
Right?
Am I crazy or Am I right?
PLEASE FORGIVE MY GRAMMAR!
I'm learning Italian and I think my english doesn't like it at all.

One of the things I try to remember about computers is that it's hard to outright delete anything permanently. It has to be over-written, and even then there's a chance some of it's retrievable (with difficulty) if you don't overwrite it all (unless it's been physically damaged to a huge extent, such as a volcano). Of course, I'm sure Tony knows that and can do it, but I retain hope for some reason.

He might be salvageable if they stop before his motor functions and such begin to fade (aren't his reflexes going?). Though I'm wondering if his organs and kidneys and the like are unaffected.

He seems to be regressing, though I could be mistaken. If that's the case, then automatic functions should go last. If we do have to deal with organ failure, I hope it'll come after the "Tony" part has been deleted, just for his sake. Plus, it would no doubt be much more dramatic and angsty, which I'm sure Marvel will love.

I think Tony might have one more trick left and then plans on going out :( It seems like he's giving the means to safe him to other people and let them decide, if getting Hill to get that flashdrive to Cap is something that can help him.

That... is a very Tony-ish thing to do, actually. He'd fully expect that everyone would realize how much better off the are without him and therefore not do whatever needs to be done to save him. Does he even know Cap is coming back, I wonder? Or does he even remember Cap? ;o;

along with the preview page. It seems either a)He's forgotten Cap is dead or b)plans on seeing him on the other side DDD:
He's not part of the taskforce trying to get Cap back from what I hear, so it's just like that fic you wrote me, the way things are going. They are just going to miss each other.

I'd forgotten about that comment! I hope he's just forgotten, because Tony being Tony, I doubt he's expecting good things if he sees Cap after death.
Maybe I should start writing happy fluffy "Tony survives and Cap comes back and everything is all better WITH SHOUJO SPARKLES" stories to nudge Marvel in the right direction. ;o; Tony can't die. (Except for that part where Marvel seems to disagree with me on that.)

Fluff is needed in the fandom, yes indeed.

Though personally, I have been convinced that Tony has something up his sleeve ever since the 'not that bad yet' line with Dmitri. It seems to imply that he needs to stay alive for something.
