Oh... Steve. I love how even though you're not fully irrigated back into the Universe, and even though your Rebirth #5 isn't out yet, you're still rushing to save your boyfriend BFF. Love it.

God YES! Just YES! And Steve makes everything better. Pepper's raging against Tony, and raging against the world, and she needs some hope, and then BAM. Steve. Everything is better.

Plus, Tony and Cap haven't spoke yet. For all we know, Cap's gonna look at Tony and walk out after he's up. (Cause in my opinion, it's going to be Cap who needs to forgive Tony. Tony's so starved for love and absolution right now that he'll try to "forgive and forget" waaaay easier than Cap.)

Honestly? I don't think so. Cap definitely needs to forgive Tony, and that's gonna take time. But. I know that if I were in an argument with one of my best friends, and then suddenly they were in trouble and needed me? I wouldn't care how angry I am at them. They need me? I'm there. And I'm no Steve Rogers. I think people aren't giving him, or his friendship with Tony, enough credit.

Cap and Tony have known each other for more than fifteen years and they've gone through A LOT of shit together. A LOT. No matter HOW angry you are at someone, you don't throw away fifteen years of constant companionship. You just don't. It's not going to be easy, and it probably won't be the same, but I have no doubt that they'll find each other again.
