Initially Clint, that charming twit, was supposed to make a cameo, but he is now Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Drawing since he was stupid enough to hit on Mavis Lash immediately after having flirted with Pepper. Bad move, Clint; do not bite the hand that manages the Avengers' Christmas party invites.

I know there is an appalling lack of colour in this drawing, but I do have an explanation for that. You see, I injured my arm, which threw off my planned timetable completely and prevented me from finishing this properly before the deadline. But I promise you, dear recipient, that I will colour it and post the finished result, if only to my personal journal. In the meantime, I hope the line-art suffices. I really do apologise for the hassle.

I do hope that you're on the mend. I must say, there's nothing like a good line drawing with pencil. Sometimes, colouring and inking tends to distort the picture, so no fear, anon, you did very well, and I'm chuffed at my gift.

I do like the angle you've chosen, with the tree just at the corner of one's eye as anchor (we know that we're looking down at the characters, and the fact that the viewer is eyeballing the tree gives us that hint) so we can look at the hijinx below. I do love the fact that everyone is just interacting as they do. But erm... whoops at Ororo breaking the window. Oh, lol. Poor Tony will have to pay for that.

The detail you've included here is fantastic. I love Tony hooking Steve's belt loop and Rhodey decorating the armor.

Oh, this is full of lovely detail. I like Storm's dress; and what on earth is Thor up to? Jan is really cute, and I like Hank eyeing the mistletoe. Rhodey - I don't even know, but Tony will be mad when he has to pick tinsel out of all the joints in the armour. :D I hope you'll post the coloured version to the comm when it's done!
