I think a photomanip-- comicmanip?-- still counts as a picspam. I BLAME YOU GUYS FOR BEING AWESOME.

So in Ultimates there's a flashback of Steve in the 40's with Gail and I manip'd Tony there instead. The only downside to this is that Tony was forced to be Gail's height XD








So now I've read Ultimates 1&2 and am pretending that 3 doesn't exist. I don't get people who think this series is hard to slash! I mean, you KNOW that when Tony was clearing out his penthouse (before Steve and Thor came over for dinner) he was getting rid of his embarrassing amount of Captain America memorabilia! HE HAD CAP'S HELMET EVEN FOR CRISSAKES. (And suddenly I kind of really need Thor/Tony slash >_>) Now I have to go back a re-read all the ult'verse fic I've read-- I'm sure a lot of things will suddenly start to make sense XD

I started reading Ultimates 3 but couldn't finish it, it was just ... bad, and I say this as someone who really enjoyed Ultimates 1 and 2 and most other Ultimateverse books. (I'm looking at you Orson Scott Card, what was with that?!) I read Ultimate Human last week, and I love Ultimate!Tony in the hands of Warren Ellis. <3

I've never found any Tony/Thor ultimateverse fic, and I love their relationship. I should have a look around.

There's an Ult Thor/Tony fic here, but it's the only one I ever recall seeing.

And I totally hear you on slashing Ult S/T. Tony had Cap trading cards, too. :) In Ultimate War they're attacked while Tony isn't in the armour, and Steve is all "FORM UP. PROTECT TONY. And those other people I guess."

This is an utterly gorgeous manip -- you truly can't tell it's a manip by looking at it, it looks so seamless.

Short!Tony makes me :D, though, because I've seen so many pieces of anime fanart where one half of a pairing gets the "suddenly, Joe is a half a foot shorter than Bob!" treatment without the excuse of having to manip Joe overtop a different, shorter character.
