Well, if it was Gail, and they went with the Ults origin, it would fit quite well - they've known each for years, so no time wasted on getting-to-know you, and they write to each other. However, that does mean she's not on-screen much. (Also I don't see how she could be British, so probably not Gail.)

Although Gail as his girl back home and then Keira or whoever as Spitfire and not a romantic interest would be very cool!
