Newbie with some plushies...

So, I have this thing where I knit plushies. And a day after seeing Iron Man, I decided to do an Iron Man plushie, and this meant I had to do a Captain America plushie to go with him.


Iron Man's eyes are hard to see, but he does have them, I promise!


Steve's missing his shield do to some technial knitting difficulties. But it'll come soonish, I hope.


The Avengers. Thor was made first. And I kinda like to think Tony and Steve are holding hands in that one. >>'

Thanks! I don't actually have a pattern, just a base one for doing the arms and legs, most of it's done as I think of it. I sadly don't know how to crochet, tried multiple times, I just seem to lack that ability. XD

theses are so cute, are they adapted from a base pattern or just improvised? and what made you decide to have the purls on the outside instead of the knit? I love how the purls look like chain mail on thor.
Sorry for all the technical knittng questions, I also have a love of knitting though I haven't made any people yet.

I used to have a base pattern I made for them, but then that changed so much that I just improvise on the go depending on what character I'm doing at the time. There was no purling involved actually. Just straight forward knitting, I meant to do the purling for Iron Man so it looked more like armour, but I have a tendency to mess up when I purl. ^^;
It's no problem. I love knitting too. ^^ I just got bored one day and decided to apply it to my fandoms.
