Cap_Ironman Weekly News, Week Ending 15 August 2010

No news to speak of this week, though here's a short interview from Chris Evans about reading Captain America comics.

Now that I have your attention, I'd like to use it to beg a few more author sign ups on our Captain America/Iron Man Reverse Bang. The minimum word count is only 6k, and there's lots of time to work on it. We've already got some art in, and I can confidently say that it will knock your socks off when you see it, and that's just the drafts. If you're not interested in writing, maybe look at the beta and cheerleading posts. It's all over at [livejournal.com profile] c_im_bigbang.

We're half way through August, and it's still Avengers Month, and there's still time and room to write meta or make Avengers-centric fanwork for that. We've had a few posts already, with more signed up to post later in the month.

[livejournal.com profile] arileo wrote Chapter 7 of Tilt.
[livejournal.com profile] pandanoai and [livejournal.com profile] axolotl_lan wrote the final chapter of Moth (so if any of you avoid WIPs, go check her out, she's done!)
[livejournal.com profile] tsukinofaerii wrote more meta about writing Steve/Tony, this time about Genres and Sub Genres within stories.
[livejournal.com profile] anruiukimi drew a Steve/Tony Alice in Wonderland AU, and a picture of Tony by himself. Both are here.

Finally, if you're a new or recent member, hello and welcome! Our rules are here, and in the profile; this includes our warnings policy, so please read. If you're interested in the ship, you may want to read the Ship Manifesto, and consult the list of Slashy Moments (Now at one hundred and forty-four moments). If you're planning to write for the comm, there are some tips on writing the pairing here, and the Avengers in general here; if you're having trouble finding a beta, or would like to offer your services as a beta, our beta list is here. If you're looking for the comm archive, it's Tales of Suspense, and it's automated - you can create an account and upload your fic. if you have any questions, you can comment here or PM a mod, that's me, [livejournal.com profile] garrideb and [livejournal.com profile] valtyr.
