Request: Captain America/Iron Man Roleplay
I hope this isn't too much of a long shot!
I'm kind of looking for someone to role play some sweet Iron Man/Captain America with me. Sort of like a round robin, except one of us is in charge of our respective characters. Writing a story!
I'd love to play either Captain America or Iron Man, but note that I've only read the following:
--Tales of Suspense #39-65
--all of Warren Ellis' Iron Man: Extremis run
--Matt Fraction's The Invincible Iron Man, #1-25 (which just makes me sigh in despair, really)
--The Avengers, v1 #1-4
--New Avengers, v1 #1-11
--all of Marvel Adventures: Avengers, Iron Man, and Superheroes. *g*
Everything else about the Avengers, I learned from fandom! OK, that was bad, but I've read a lot of wikis and gone through tons of scans (especially from that Slashy Moments list). Probably the only reason I'm not writing fanfiction is because of the above--I've unfortunately not gone through enough fandom to really ground myself anywhere, which is why I'd like someone to help me develop Tony and Steve's characters in my brain more.
I can play Tony or Steve; it doesn't really matter (I'm more familiar with Tony than Steve, but that's okay--need to be familiar with both sides of the coin, am I right?). Bear in mind I can't handle anything too dark and would prefer something more on the light-hearted side of things.
We can do it in a variety of ways--over LJ and on AIM/MSN/other messenger are probably the easiest ways to do this. It doesn't have to be too long-term, but I would like it to last. We can hash out some sort of AU, or just a "getting together" type of story--anything is fine. We can put our creative minds together!
OK, well, that's all I have to say. I was never really any good at finishing. *sheepish*

xDinahQueenx is my AIM, which is what I'm the most comfortable with that. ^^ Let me know, I'll be on and off all day today, because I'm babysitting.

I'll actually be busy today, but I'll send you an IM. :D
