Hahaha. Okay. Lemme explain. I was reading it in order of publication and I got confused at a few places.

Steve dies in Civil War. Tony gets to be director of SHIELD. He makes Bucky Cap in Steve's place. Aliens invade (Secret Invasion Event). Tony falls out of favour and is replaced by Norman Osborne (Dark Reign Event). Steve comes back from the dead in a mini that made no sense whatsoever, and I do mean AT ALL, called Captain America Reborn. Norman Osborn decides to attack Asgard (Siege event). At this point, Steve hasn't had much time to talk to Bucky, so they are both dressed as Cap.

Then continuity gets really, really confusing. However, essentially: Steve talks to Obama and gets made leader of SHIELD (sort of, as there is no SHIELD). He talks to Bucky and agrees that Bucky should remain Captain America. Possibly not in that order. Right after that, Avengers Prime happens.

Is that helpful or more confusing?
