The original artist's handle is jgonzo on the Capcom Unity, which I think is a forum. This has been posted without permission, but, we thought you guys would like it.

I'm sure Doomkitty just needs love as well. That's how cats are. :)

Also, I believe Wolverkitty is indeed supposed to be jumping dramatically. I can see the belly rub angle too, and it makes it way more adorable. Honestly, first glance, I thought he was trying to pounce on Stormkitty. :D Or maybe M.O.D.O.Kitty.

Wolverkitty totally wants love and is highly affectionate... with like three people. Everybody else gets clawed. I've encountered those cats IRL, and they all love my mother and turn into belly rub fiends and huggers instantly.
