Sorry to bother you all, but I have some questions.

Hi, im writng for the big bang fanfic exchange but i have a few questions about Tony, I read on wikipedia that he was braindead but now he´s back , but he has to use a arc reactor in his chest to survive even more than he had to before, and also use backup file´s to his brain not to forget everything and everyone he knows. So I wanted to ask how that works, and if he still need to download those backup files, it don´t seem very healthy.

Second of all, do anyone know when Tony´s birthday are? I know steve´s, its the 4 of july right? If i got that wrong please correct me.

And third, can anyone please consider becoming my beta reader?! My english grammar are terribly but i promise i will do my best to become better! And i don´t mind criticism, just tell me what I done wrong and I will do my best to learn from it. And if youre not allowed to ask this queston here I apolugise but I don´t know if it is forbidden  or not. I just wanted to take the oppoturnity ask when I was asking the other two questions. Please don´t be mad at me.

Please can some kind person answer atleast some of these questions? The one about Tony´s brain i myself se as the most important one for the moment.

Hi!

Firstly: I think that story is Stark Disassembled onwards. I actually haven't managed to borrow a copy from someone (I'm up to right before it :( ) so I'm not entirely sure how that works. (comic book science)

Secondly: There was a discussion in the community about Tony's birthday earlier, and I think it came out to the fact that there is no canon answer. Then I think it went into picking one for him XD

Thirdly: http://cap-ironman.livejournal.com/213860.html This is the beta reader list. I am currently applying to be on this list, so if you like, I'll happily beta for you.

First question: Tony's brain is essentially a hard drive and he made a backup of all his memories pre-Civil War (I think he purposefully did so, I may be wrong). I don't think he has to keep doing it, it's already all there so he just read up on what happened in between his backed up memories and the present.

I believe Tony backed himself up right before he dosed himself with the Extremis virus.

This was right before Civil War and the events that followed. In order to keep his knowledge from falling into the hand of Norman Osborn, Tony slowly lobotomized himself. By the end, he was brain dead.

When they brought him back, they used the "backup" he'd made; so that's why he doesn't remember the events of the past two years (Civil War, Steve dying, etc).

I don't know what Steve's canon birthday is either, though I know it's not the fourth of July.

I think it was for comics Steve. It doesn't appear to be for Movie Steve.

It is for movie Steve too. I have a clearer screen cap now that the hi res trailer is out. July 4.

Oh, good. I couldn't see any reason for them to change that apart from fear of cheesiness. :)

I had it that since extremis wasn't working well, he needed the arc reactor to keep his heart beating?

He made a backup file of his brain before injecting himself with Extremis and just like a computer's, when you reset the CPU and go back to your backup files, well, you just have what you had in them. You don't need to download them but for the first time you reinstall everything.

Some places in the internet say his birthday is March 2nd, 1963... I dunno how'd they come up with it, haven't found any evidence that supports such claim, but well.

It'd be cool if we had a beta match-up post like Valtyr commented at the c-im-bigbang comm; I too are in a need of a beta.
