Podbook: Reconnection

Since saphirerose1986 was incredible enough to record a podfic of my story "Reconnection," I thought I'd spiff it up with cover art and turn it into an actual podbook (with permission :).

:) It's a podfic with embedded cover art that's in m4b audio format, so any mp3 player/program that recognizes audiobooks should pick up that this counts ad one, too. If it were long enough to have chapters, it would also have spiffy skipping forward/back by chapter capabilities. Make more sense? I probably should have put that in the original post, but I didn't think about it.

That makes sense, thanks! Is there a tutorial anywhere about how to turn an MP3 into a podbook? I'd like to try it.

podfic_tips is where I found the tips for Chapter & Verse on PCs. They have info on podficcing, podfic equipment, programs, and podbooks. amplificathon is how I found them, and they're a nice source of podbooks/podfics. They also have some helpful links, and the podfic archive that they link to has some info/tutorials too.

That's the limit of my knowledge, as no matter how much I've been tempted to try podficcing myself, I hate my voice and have never done it. LOL
