My first art in this fandom!
I drew this in pencil, then inked and scanned it to finish digitally. I did trace the clothing from a photo, because I hadn't thought that far ahead when I did the pencil sketch!
I'm working on a simple style of drawing because my usual habit of drawing every detail is great for realism, but not so great for actually finishing anything. I'm also working on colouring, as this is the first picture I've completed to my satisfaction.
Constructive critique is welcome, as I want to get better and draw more. Any tips or tutorials on colouring or drawing would also be welcomed!

Colors are my weakest point. Here's what I do to practice coloring: I look at pictures which colors I like and study the technique, the way colors, shades and lighting are done and then try to emulate it as best as I can. Photos are good for this too. I'm not very patient though and end up rushing the process so I rarely get the end result I want.
I've also noticed that many artists (and I do this myself most of the times too) use thicker lines for the huh.. outline? of the drawing and it gives it a nice depth effect. If you want to practice drawing, try and draw from photos. I've got some drawing tutorials around here, I'll zip them and upload them to mediafire and post the link for you later.
