My first art in this fandom!

I drew this in pencil, then inked and scanned it to finish digitally. I did trace the clothing from a photo, because I hadn't thought that far ahead when I did the pencil sketch!

I'm working on a simple style of drawing because my usual habit of drawing every detail is great for realism, but not so great for actually finishing anything. I'm also working on colouring, as this is the first picture I've completed to my satisfaction.

Constructive critique is welcome, as I want to get better and draw more. Any tips or tutorials on colouring or drawing would also be welcomed!

Here it is. (http://www.mediafire.com/?8ii1bit4t77oz34)

I used to have more but my HD got accidentally wiped some time ago and I lost a lot of stuff. These are the ones I've collected back so far. Hope it is of help.

The thicker lines, I usually include chin and neck too. But you can experiment and come up with something you like.

Many artists leave the finer lines for the face and clothes/body details. Also for background objects. Here are some examples from comics and webcomics:

In the end, though, it's up to you to decide how to play with the lines' width.
