Welcome again to the cap_ironman/cap_ironman newsletter. A quick PSA about tags - we have user tags to use when posting a fanwork, so that, say, a person who has just finished reading your fic can click on it to see what other fanworks you've posted here. The tags look like x: username so that they stick together in the alphabetic tag list. The first time you post a fanwork, a mod will have to create a tag for you (and we're pretty good about doing so, though please ask if we forget!) but after that you should use it every time you post a fanwork.

Mods-could the comm have an updated beta post sometime soon? The current one says it was from Dec 2010.

also, are posts to the comm looking for betas acceptable or should one contact potential betas directly? /is new to whole fic writing thing

Just PM someone on the list. If they're not interested, PM someone else. If nothing else, it'll remind them that they're on the list in the first place.
