Merry Christmas and happy holidays! Welcome to the cap_ironman/cap_ironman newsletter. I hope everyone is enjoying the secret santa gifts - I know I am. If you're already itching for a new prompt or challenge, you're in luck - around January 1st there will be sign-ups for cap_ironman bingo cards.

Marvel posted a tribute to Joe Simon.
Civil War is going to be adapted into prose format.
It looks like Marvel is ending their Marvel Adventures line, and replacing it with a new all-ages comic that ties in to the animated Ultimate Spider-Man and A:EMH. I think this makes marketing sense, but I hope that the new Avengers can match the charm of MA:A.
Comicbookmovie.com posted the official Marvel and DC holiday cards for this year. Make sure to scroll down past the Venom Valentines Day card to see a cute Xmas Steve & Tony animation (ETA: made by Ironfries). It seems like that site ships them almost as much as we do!

Oh noes! Bingo starts 1 January? When does it finish and is it possible to put in a preemptive attendance? I really want to do it but I'm going to China for a month starting tomorrow. :<

I started reading this comm a month or two ago maybe. and I just wanted to pop by and say thank you to everyone who make this community so awesome and lively !
I just finished reading ALL the Christmas fics, and i can honestly say that they made my Christmas wonferdul and full of feelings *o*

I haven't quite caught up with the Secret Santa fics yet, but I agree that the ones I've read have brightened my Christmas. The authors and artists here are truly fantastic!
