Marvel has released some preview art from Avengers Vs X-Men, which depicts Wanda battling MODOK in front of the White House. Excited or apprehensive? I haven't made up my mind yet.

We do not know. We do not even know if Tony has a tower or a mansion in NYC. None are shown in the Iron Man films, as he lives in Malibu and has a mansion there.

In the teaser trailer there's a skyscrapper with STARK on top (and Loki does throw Tony out of a tall building), so we can probably assume Stark Tower exists.

I missed that. Though in the second trailer, Tony's in an office that looks like he lives there, and it's about level with the roof of the Chrysler Building.

Yes this. My friend and I want to build Wanda's costume for this and have her go in it (she's, to put it lightly, stacked) and then take pictures to show that BOOBS DO NOT WORK THIS WAY. We'd have to blur out my friend's face because there would be SO MUCH NIPPLE. *hates comic book boobs* (This happens to be a large part of the reason why I'm not a fan of hardly any female super heroes)

It is really annoying. I don't mind that most superheroines have large breasts, but it would be nice if they looked somewhat human. In a similar note, I don't mind that Wanda's costume is low-cut (to put it mildly) but it would be nice if it supported her like a costume worn in battle should.

There's been a lot of art of Wanda that I would love *except* for the way her breasts are depicted. I commissioned some Carol/Wanda art last year and I felt the need to tell the artist my thoughts on fictional breasts because I was scared I'd get something ridiculous if I didn't.

With you on the "I would love this art if only..." feelings. So often I've started to love a picture, and then I get to how the breasts are handled, or the pose that's twisted to show off assets (when the male heroes get to just look cool and active in the same story/art series), and my "yay" goes to an "oh, well :\"

Carol can't really show cleavage, but to make up for it I feel like her costume seems to be cut *higher* every year. lol/sigh

Oh man, I hate it when they make the crotch of Carol's costume into, like, a thong.

This is part of the reason that sometimes I prefer art from older comics. Sure, the breasts are still big and the costumes still skimpy (really, Wanda's skintight bodysuit isn't fooling anyone) but there's much, much less of that twisted spine pose. I think that horrible 'her ass and boobs must be in every panel' mentality really took flight in the 90's, and sadly hasn't quite gone away.

My thoughts exactly. Especially sad when it's an artist I otherwise like, but Carol stands less like a soldier and more like she's posing for a porno.

One of the more memorable parts of Dark Reign for me was Moonstone complaining about the costume riding up and the need for waxing.

garrideb basically said all I was going to! I am a fan of certain female heroes, but getting a good story written for them or a picture that doesn't make me sigh can be rarer than it should be.
