Time Travel Fics

I'm looking for time travel fics here. Not fic where someone goes back to the 40s and sees little Steve or anything like that- I want fic where Tony is on a mission for the Avengers and is hit by some crazy magic and wakes up sometime before he's set to head off to Afghanistan. Something where he can go and make all sorts of changes early- make his suit, change around the company, get Stane thrown in prison, and, most importantly, go fish out Steve and hide him in his mansion and go offer his new best friend Bruce Banner a job.

Does *anything* like this exist? Pairings don't matter to me- it can be het, slash, gen, whatever.

Sorry, that I do not know of anything that you requested for that. I definitely know a few for Harry Potter and Xmen on that vane, but you are probably not interested.in those.

Now, that makes me really sad. Then again it seems like there are so few time travel fics out there. I would definitely second the one above. There is also this one (http://archiveofourown.org/works/271326) where tony gets transported to the 40s before Steve was Cap. It is a work in progress that has not updated for a while though. I remember that liked the premise and the first few chapters.

I love your Telepathy 101 and its all in the mind series, so if you pretty much post anything for this fandom I will probably read the hell out of it. I also love this prompt since I came across it in the Harry Potter universe, so you can be pretty much guaranteed that I would be interested and probably a lot of other people too!

Wow! I just finished reading your mutant!tony fic last night and you just caught me as I got to work so this is the first chance that I have had to respond to you.

I adore your Tony! With all of the eccentricities and passion for engineering. I love that he is compelled to create, his interactions with his AIs, and his nonlinear thinking.

I think that for this prompt though, that you should use a mix of your mutant!Tony&movieverse!Tony. Hear me out, this story that you are tossing around is not about Tony coming to terms with himself/his powers that he has always had like your telekinesis plot, but it is about how the Iron man suit changed him for the better. It is about how tony has accepted how different he is now compared to how he was and how much he would do things differently if he could.

Therefore, I think that you should use movieverse!Tony background but you should use your unique spin/perspective of him because that characterization is just awesome and it works. Tony is fluid and constantly thinking and working on things. He is always looking at the tech around him and making snarky comments yet caring for his team. Your portrayal of him in your series is probably one of the best/accurate of him that I have ever seen.

Anyways, I am just so excited and thrilled that you did not forget about this prompt.
