I've not read Marvel comics, but they sound pretty cracky. All the ones I thought could only be fanfic, were actually canon. While all the ones I thought sounded 'reasonable' were fanfic. So, are Marvel fanfic writers merely trying to make sense of the crack? Or because of it?
