As a fan of both I'm not sure what being a crazy loki fangirl has to do with it since quite a few don't ship Loki with anyone or they do with someone that isn't Thor.
It's pretty close though so there appears to be a lot of support for both which is great.

showing loki as woobified character, all these OOC drawings of thorki etc

stony was already a popular ship before the movies and lbr stony is not even that big in the avengers so it's normal that there is already supporters of them

but thorki's popularity mostly increased because of the movies and tom hiddleston and crazy loki fans

Hey, I know we're all Steve/Tony fans, but we would prefer it if other ships/fans didn't get bashed here. No fandom is perfect, they all have OOC and fans who are a little heavily invested. This is the place for saying how awesome our ship is, not putting down others.

yeahhhh, but everyone reacts to and perceives a character differently. we're not really in any position to correct them or call them out on stuff like that as long as we're prescribing head canons to our favourite characters as well.

The Thor/Loki people are pretty dedicated to their pairing, that's for sure. I wouldn't think they're more so than we are though (plus lots here ship both).

The trouble with this poll is it's a false dichotomy, placing Loki/Thor in competition with Steve/Tony. Well, that, and their insistence on some really odious portmanteau words for pairings.

Also, why should one have to choose between Frodo/Sam and Aragorn/Legolas?!?! Although Legolas/Gimli 4EVAR, 'cuz it's canon.

I, for one, was sad that there wasn't any Éowyn/Arwen on the after Ellen femslash poll.

Plus I always thought that was a het pairing anyway. With Gimli being a woman and all.

Polls where you "can only vote once" just follow either cookies or IP, both of which are easy enough to get around. People stuff CBR polls all the time, for example.

I will cry if Steve/Tony comes up against Charles/Erik. Also, how is Shawn/Gus losing? Granted, I've never seen Grimm, but come on, it's Shawn/Gus.

The AfterEllen femslash poll is oddly disappointing. Scully/Monica? Really? *not tempted to look for fic, nope*
