Marvel Heroes, now with June 4th release date

I was going to wait for the next newsletter, but the game servers will be up tomorrow so I figured what the hell. I have a spare beta key to randomly hand out Gone, enjoy!

(Sadly, NDA trumps screencap-or-it-didn't-happen, but can I just say Commander Rogers = DAT ASS.)

Oh man, I got super excited until I read the (Windows only at this point). Then I cried. :-(

But I am amused and delighted that Squirrel Girl will be a playable character. And there was flailing over Ms. Marvel because my ridic fictional crush is Carol.

I would totes play this game with that beta key... I'm just saying. ;) I'm soooo excited for this game. But BOO HISS the Iron Man 3 armor only being available in the $200 hero pack... LAME. I'm poor. lol no. But I will play it for free all. the. damn. time. :P

Oh man I wish I had seen this sooner. I have been watching this game for awhile. I've been on the fence about some of the early adopter packages (I'm on the mailing list xD). I just can't make myself put out money for a full retail game until I've heard what it's like. I've been burned too many times being an early adopter.

Nnngh. It's so tempting, though.

As a game design major, I will feel absolutely no guilt or remorse at all when *checks beta times* ... tomorrow is spent doing important work. Yes. Very important. Very serious.

It really is too bad about the Windows only. But then, it might be a blessing in disguise… *checks bad internet habits, stacks 1-86* The same way it's probably fortunate that Champions Online is Windows only or I'd have been there a long while ago.
