Some of you may already know this, but there's a fandom charity auction going on called Marvel Trumps Hate. There are 236 creators and 354 auctions offering all types of works and all types of Marvel universes, fandoms, ships, and characters. Bidding is open until October 27, at 11:59 PM ET (what time is that for me?).

We know 354 auctions may be overwhelming to go through, so we put together a list of creators who are willing to make Steve/Tony (and Steve & Tony gen) fanworks to make life easier for you all. Without further ado, here they are!

Please note that you should check which universes belong to which auction as some people are offering multiple work types, and the universes may differ per work type.)

Hi, everyone! I’m here to let you know about a great upcoming fandom project that you might be interested in joining, with permission from the mods (thanks, mods!).

Marvel Trumps Hate is a fandom charity auction focused on all Marvel universes, characters, and ships. Our purpose is to encourage fandom unity while raising money for non-profit organizations working to protect civil rights, marginalized and oppressed communities, and the environment. People put up fanworks and services to be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to some great causes.

Creator registration for Marvel Trumps Hate is officially open! We're accepting sign-ups from now until 11:59 PM ET on October 14 (what time is that for me?), with bidding taking place a week after that, from October 21 to October 27. Last year, the auction raised over $32,000 for a range of progressive organizations. This year's auction, which went live TODAY and runs through to 11:59 EST on January 14th, hopes make even more.

There are listings for fanfics, digital art, podfic services, beta services, and more, by over 300 talented creators across more than 200 fandoms! Unconventional Courtship generator plugs fandom character names into 100's of romance novel summaries. It's a great plot bunny farm. You can make your own custom character version, or you can use the one I made for MCU.

Unconventional Courtship Generator, MCU Avengers version has my custom MCU Avengers as an option. Click on it & you'll have the random pairings chosen from Tony, Steve, Bruce, Pepper, Natasha, Thor, Clint, Jarvis, Fury, Rhodey, and Bucky. (Edwin Jarvis isn't strictly speaking MCU, but I wanted him in there.) To make purely Stony pairings put Tony Stark and Steve Rogers in the text boxes.

While not technically Steve and Tony related. I know many of us also like other Marvel news especially as it relates to the Avengers and MCU.

There is apparently a new Guardian of the Galaxy Animated series coming to Disney XD. The premiere is awhiles off, Saturday, September 26 at 9:30 PM ET, but they've put up two shorts covering Peter's origins.

Marvel's doing one of their promotions for a free month of Marvel Unlimited again. For anyone who isn't familiar with Marvel Unlimited, it gives you access to thousands of older issues, and is a great way to get access to a lot of canon for cheap - especially when it's free! Marvel Heroes 2015 is giving away a free costume for Iron Man today for anyone who logs in. So, if you have been thinking about playing today would be a good day. This might be relevant: Marvel Unlimited is having a SDCC related promotion - you can get a month access for 99 cents (it's an online archive of Marvel comics - and lots of them).

Here's the link you can use to get it.

Two things: ~~it ends today ("99 cent offer valid from 12:01 AM EST 7/23/14 to 11:59 EST 7/29/14")~~. The other - correct me if it changed and I'm wrong, I'm new to unlimited as of today - but I've heard it renews automatically, so if you don't want to spend 9.99$ (the regular price) on it the next month, remember to cancel your subscription.
