NYCC: Meet-up suggestions?

So, this coming weekend (Friday the 11th through Sunday the 13th) is New York Comicon. Are any comm members who're planning on attending interested in meeting up at some point, either during the con itself or in the evening after the convention floor closes?

ETA: Suggestions atm are for tonight after the con, and Saturday at the con either directly before or directly after the Agents of SHIELD panel.

Whoops, totally answered the poll signed in as my friend at first.
I'll be there for work, so Thurs, Sat, Sun-- and maybe available Friday night if I don't end up going out with cartoonists.

Saturday and possibly Sunday, I'll be cosplaying as femme!burlesque!Cap so that will be a thing.

If I end up going to any private events, I will totally invite people along. Just not sure if I'm doing the party circuit this year.

*grins* I'll be either Ms. Marvel or one of the hoard of Homestuck cosplayers depending on which day it is. Both Saturday and Sunday got equal numbers of votes in the poll - it might be a good idea to have two meet-ups, one at the con itself and one afterward for people who want to get together and party.

Yup! I would like to do something! I will have a friend with me Saturday, though so I need to do stuff she wants to do!

Friday night would be great, it looks like a ton of people are into that, and I won't be wearing ridiculously skimpy clothing!

So I have to go to a pro party tonight from 7-9 but I am free after that, and could theoretically bring a couple people (although it's going to be comic strip people, not comic book people, so I'm not sure who would be interested). I'll be around though! I'll keep checking my messages!

My current suggestion for a meet-up time would be tomorrow either just before or just after the 5:15-6:15pm Agents of SHIELD panel, outside the room it's being held in (if we meet before, the MCU fans can all go to the panel together. If we meet after, we can leave the con and go elsewhere for food/drinks if people want), since I'm assuming a lot of Avengers fans will be going to that.



I'm not going to be able to get into the city tonight, but I know a bunch of other people are going to be there.

I'm probably skipping the Agents of SHIELD panel in favor of waiting to see Neil DeGrasse Tyson which either overlaps or is immediately afterward, I'm afraid! We'll see!

I'm not attending the con, but I live here and would like to go to a meetup if/when it happens. Maybe we could go for a meal, if the group isn't too large?

Some kind of post-con dinner meetup would probably be a good idea, yeah ^_^. For one thing, even the people going to the con will all have different panels they want to attend at different times while the con's going on.
